My Math Maven 90-minute (2 hours for Algebra I), Saturday math instructional classes, cost less than $50 a week and include FREE "Touch-Base Tuesdays" office hours, which provides weekly optional additional math support and practice, with My Math Maven, LLC Math Teachers and Teacher Assistants. Our office hours are 2 hours long, which means your child has access to over 3 and half hours of math support a week (as a reminder, Saturday classes are required, Touch-Base-Tuesdays are optional). This FREE service is only provided to My Math Maven Students who are current students, and actively enrolled in a My Math Maven, LLC Saturday class.

"Touch-Base Tuesdays" are optional, and students are not required to log on for this service. However, this service is available from 4:30pm-6:30pm (Eastern Time) & 4:30pm-6:30pm (Pacific Time, which = 7:30pm-9:30pm Eastern Time), FREE to all My Math Maven students, who are currently enrolled in one of our Saturday instructional math tutoring classes.

During Touch-Based Tuesdays, students can "drop in" any time (online), between the two-hour timeslot to receive additional support with a math homework question, math clarifications, misconception support, test-prep question practice, or challenge questions with our math Problem of the Week (POW!), and more. Enjoy the benefits of this additional service, FREE to currently enrolled, My Math Maven, LLC students.

Purchase these sessions as a gift for that 3rd grade-Algebra I student, whose education matters to you. Give the gift of mathematics! This is the gift that keeps on giving: They receive math growth, skills, understanding, strategies, application, and achievement, that they can apply to real life as children and as future adults. Purchase a 4-week, 8-week, or up to 16-week Session.

Note: Students can participate in available My Math Maven, LLC Saturday classes all school year (fall-winter-spring, based on My Math Maven LLC calendar), however, classes are paid for in 4, 8, 12, or 16-week increments.

Cancellation Policy:

You will receive a 100% Refund for a 4-week class session, if cancelled at least 24 hours before your first scheduled class, for that session. 50% Refund for a 4-week class session if cancelled at least 24 hours before your second scheduled class. No Refund is given if cancelled less than 24 hours before your second scheduled class. However, if you have prepaid for more than one session, upcoming 4-week class sessions may receive a full refund, if noted in your request. Note: If you have prepaid for more than one session (8-weeks or more) than you must specify in your request that you want the refund to apply to the all-upcoming prepaid sessions, or your refund will only apply to the next upcoming or current 4-week session, depending on when you submitted your request.

Please note that once cancelled, your child’s seat in the class is removed, and may be offered to another student. You are welcome to return, however, reenrollment will require a full payment. Cancellation request must be sent via email, using our “contact us” options on mymathmaven.com site. Request must be received by or before the deadlines specified above. One of the unique features that My Math Maven, LLC intentionally incorporated into their vision of online Virtual Learning, is the ability to have a small group of students, from possibly varying states, being taught by a teacher, from possibly a different state of their own. What a great way to bring people together, and for teachers and students to learn about regional differences and commonalities. This also means your child may join the same class (subject to availability) with a friend or relative who lives in another zip code, even another state!

Remember, classes are subject to availability, as we like to keep the class sizes small. To arrange for one child to be in the same class and session as their relative or friend, who lives in another state, first make sure they are both registered with My Math Maven, LLC., as this makes placement easier. It’s important to consider the time of the class, that you are registering each child. For example, California (Pacific Time) is 3 hours behind NYC (Eastern Time), therefore if you registered your child for a 9am class, this may not allow her friend or family member to join, as in California it would be 6am, which we do not recommend taking a class that early. We’d recommend you registering for an 11am (Eastern) or later session, so that the relative or friend in California can join the same class at a reasonable time in their time zone (Pacific).

Finally, to ensure that students are placed in the same class, visit the "contact us" section of our website, and complete the form at the bottom section of the page that says, “Would you like you child to join the class with a friend or relative?” Indicate the full name, grade, city/state of residence of the relative who is registered, and request that we add them to the same class as your child.

By registering this child or children as a My Math Maven student(s), I agree and confirm that you I am the parent or legal guardian of the child(ren), or that I have permission from the parent or legal guardian of the child, to register and enroll them into My Math Maven, LLC, as a student, and to communicate to My Math Maven, LLC to matters pertaining to the child. I understand that if I violate this agreement and understanding of having permission to register this child, that I may face legal actions from the parent and from My Math Maven, LLC. I also free My Math Maven, LLC from any responsibility of me violating this permission to register the student.

By registering my child or the named student (also referred to as the “client”). The purchaser (parent, teacher, etc.) is also considered the client, when referring to information sharing of My Math Maven, LLC. I understand and agree to the Terms & Conditions set forth in the Desmos Student Data Privacy Act, found here and here (Also known as Amplify Classroom), and to My Math Maven Terms, Conditions, and Policies below, including all information and policies, requirements, provided on the My Math Maven, LLC FAQs website page, and all categories and information provided on our “product”, and all pages of the My Math Maven, LLC website. I understand that cancellation information is found on FAQs and Product page, and I agree to and understand all stated. I will also read below for additional items that I agree to and understand by registering the child(ren) named in the registration process:

I understand that my payment covers the cost of one required diagnostic testing session, which includes a practice session (for fall-winter-spring, Saturday Sessions only),  followed by a consecutive number of required small-group Saturday online classes (based on the My Math Maven, LLC* calendar). The number of small group math instructional tutoring classes is equivalent to the number of sessions purchases for an individual student. The child that I am registering (the student) also receives FREE consecutive Touch-base-Tuesday, office hours, equal to the number of weeks purchased in my session(s), beginning the Tuesday, after the registered student’s first class, and based on the My Math Maven, LLC calendar. Any approved cancellations of class sessions, also cancels the equivalent number of Touch-base-Tuesday(s). I have read the bottom of the My Math Maven, LLC  “Home” page, or the “product” page, under the section entitled “FREE with Your Purchase” (on product page), for more details about Touch-Base-Tuesdays. I understand that for fall-winter-spring Saturday classes, my registered child or student must complete a Saturday orientation, which includes a math diagnostic assessment. I understand that orientation applies to NEW My Math Maven students only, not current or former students.

I understand and agree that all Zoom links, class codes, or any information provided by My Math Maven LLC to its clients (myself and the child(ren) I registered), should only be accessed by clients (students) who have paid for the service (purchaser on behalf of child), and only during the duration that they have paid for. This information should not be shared with others, as anyone attempting to use this service, as a non-paying client, is committing theft, and subject to penalties and legal action on behalf of My Math Maven LLC.

I understand and agree to full consent for My Math Maven, LLC  to share, post, advertisements that may include videos or pictures, sound (voices) of your child engaging in My Math Maven’s instructional tutoring program, and on other forms of media, like flyers, social media, radio, tv that may be shared with the general public or other educational institutions, for the purpose of marketing, promotions, advertisement, and sale of the My Math Maven, LLC business and service. I understand that I may opt out of this “media release” agreement, but requesting such option in writing via, the contact us page on My Math Maven’s website. I understand that any advertisements or marketing that include My Math Maven, LLC students (new, former, or current), to not require a payment paid or fee paid to the child or their parent or guardians.

Non-Solicitation of My Math Maven, LLC Employees: Client (Parent, student, and purchaser of this service), agrees that during the term of this Agreement and for a period of  (1) year following the termination or resignation of the My Math Maven employee, and this this Agreement for any reason, Client shall not, directly or indirectly, solicit, induce, or attempt to solicit or induce, any employee, independent contractor, or representative of My Math Maven, LLC to leave their employment or contractual relationship My Math Maven, LLC, or to provide tutoring services or related services outside the scope of this Agreement and the employee’s non-compete agreement with My Math Maven, LLC, and without the express written consent of My Math Maven, LLC. The Client acknowledges and agrees that the employees, independent contractors, and representatives of My Math Maven, LLC are valuable assets, and any solicitation thereof would cause irreparable harm to My Math Maven, LLC, resulting in legal consequences for the client and/or My Math Maven, LLC employee.

 

I understand that My Math Maven, staff members are mandated reporters, and should they hear or witness, a child being harmed or potentially harmed, they will report to necessary agencies or authorities, as the safety of My Math Maven, LLC students come first. I also understand that I have the sole responsibility of keeping my child, or student safe, and monitored in the environment and location where they are receiving the My Math Maven, LLC services (Class Sessions, Meetings, or Touch-base-Tuesdays.) I relinquish, My Math Maven and it’s staff from any responsibility resulting issues, dangers, or mismanagement that occur at my home or whatever location my child is at while they are logged on receiving My Math Maven, LLC Services.

I understand that if I’d like to converse with the My Math Maven, LLC staff, I am not to do so via the class time, as my presence and communication in the camera, may offend or violate safety and security standard of the other students’ parents have for their child. If urgent, I can request a quick break-out room meeting with the teacher, that would last less than one minute, as not to take away from the provided class time. In all other circumstances I understand that if I need to speak with My Math Maven staff, I can put a request in via, the contact us page on the website. I may also call to speak with a My Math Maven, LLC representative.

I understand if my child is disruptive, disrespectful, to My Math Maven Students or Staff (in words, actions, gestures, writing, or intentional environment distractors (display of weapons, profanity, inappropriate visuals or audio that include offensive language expressing harm, threats, to others or profanity or, if there is any unmanageable behaviors), My Math Maven, LLC reserves the right to remove your child indefinitely from our program, utilizing the refund policy stipulated in our cancellation policy, which may mean that no refund will occur depending on the date of removal. My Math Maven, LLC reserves the right to not give second chances, as this is a private paid service.

I understand that My Math Maven, LLC teachers will manage their classes, as they are teachers and teacher assistants, who implement logical consequences and/or conferences with students who are not following our virtual online classroom norms, rules, procedures, or respectful behavior. Parents will also be notified, after the class of any such occurrence.

I understand and agree that if I have any concerns about my child or student’s interactions in the class with staff or students, or about the quality of the service, I will contact the owner of My Math Maven, LLC right away to address and remedy these issues or concerns.

I understand and agree that any attempt on my part, or my child’s part to slander or defame My Math Maven, LLC, regarding any items that are false and untrue, will be bet with legal repercussions, which may include being sued by My Math Maven, LLC.
