There are no tricks or shortcuts - just tried and true strategies for success, provided by knowledgeable math teachers who teach or have taught math for a living, to classrooms of students in school buildings each day. Trust that your child's 90 minute Virtual Saturday fall-winter-spring classes are going to be taught by true Math Mavens! (Algebra I classes, during fall-winter-spring Saturday classes are 2 hours in length.)
(*Note: Summer Math Academy classes are 3 hours per week, for 3rd-7th grade, and 4 hours per week for Algebra I. Classes take place Monday-Thursdays, during select weekdays, by grade level.).

Going on vacation? Take us with you! As long as your child has access to a compatible technological device, just carve out your My Math Maven class time, during your child's scheduled class, allow them to log on with their My Math Maven teacher, and continue growing and learning in math. Whether it be during a visit to the grandparents' house, a friend's house, the babysitter's, just connect your device to Wi-Fi, or a hotspot from another device, put those headphones on (if necessary), and log in to your My Math Maven class.
Increased Individualized Instruction
My Math Maven, LLC believes in small group learning and learning PODS during mathematics, both online and in the actual school-building. The owner herself has used this method of instruction in her math classes since she first began teaching in 1996, when it was only a common practice for English language arts or science classes to have students collaborating in groups, while math class was set up for frontal teaching. She is firm believer that teacher-centered classrooms to not promote the best learning opportunities, like student centered, teacher "facilitated" classrooms. Small group math allows for tailored instruction, and student centered learning, that meets the needs of each child. Students have ample opportunity to have peer to peer, rich, inquiry-based discourse in math as they problem-solve together, and build on one another's ideas. During small group instruction the teacher facilitates and teaches deep conceptual thinking, questioning, and exploring. Smaller groups promote greater mathematical achievement!

With us, your child(ren) has the opportunity to work with highly qualified math teachers, most of which have Master's Degrees in education. My Math Maven, LLC selects teachers who are passionate about teaching and mathematics. Our teachers are going to provide the highest quality of math instruction, no matter the cost. We want parents to be able to sustain this instructional tutoring support for as long as their child needs it, without breaking the bank.
