My Math Maven, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Educational Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education. They will also possess the ability to build strong relationships with parents and community members. The candidate will be able to effectively communicate the benefits of My Math Maven, LLC Instructional tutoring services and address children's educational needs. Must be able to at least

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting/ Lead Generation/ & Client Acquisition:

    • Generate most sales in Eastern and Central (CST) time zone states.

    • Identify, proactively reach out to, and book potential clients (parents) through various channels, including online platforms, networking events, corporate lunches, school-building presentations, and community engagement; Additionally, attend such events in person or virtually, booked by My Math Maven, LLC to present the business and close sales.

    • Conduct thorough research to understand the specific needs and challenges faced by target families.

    • Generate qualified leads and build a pipeline of opportunities for My Math Maven Instructional tutoring services.

  • Consultative Sales and Relationship Building:

    • Deliver engaging and informative presentations to parents, effectively articulating the value proposition of tutoring programs.

    • Listen actively to parents' concerns and questions, empathetically addressing their child's unique learning style and academic goals.

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, building trust and rapport throughout the sales process.

    • Collaborate with parents to understand their child's needs and tailor appropriate tutoring solutions that support their academic journey.

  • Communication and Follow-up:

    • Clearly and concisely communicate program details, pricing, and potential outcomes of tutoring services.

    • Provide regular updates and progress reports to parents, ensuring they feel informed and involved in the tutoring process.

    • Effectively address any concerns or objections raised by parents, providing thoughtful and empathetic responses.

    • Follow up consistently with leads and prospects to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.

  • Market Intelligence and Collaboration:

    • Stay informed about educational trends, curriculum changes, and competitor activities within the tutoring market.

    • Provide market feedback and competitive information to management to help shape future service offerings.

    • Collaborate with the My Math Maven, LLC leaders, instructional tutoring team and marketing team to ensure seamless onboarding and a positive experience for new students and families. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree In Education, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the education or   tutoring industry.

  • Strong understanding of educational products and services, particularly within the target grade levels or subject area.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with parents from diverse backgrounds.

  • Ability to use Zoom as a presentation platform, and PowerPoint, Excel, Word proficient.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students achieve their academic goals. 

 

Pay:

Hourly Base + Commission.
