About the Role/Requirements

The role of Digital Marketing & Advertising Specialist is to create and manage online marketing and advertising efforts. This requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, especially in the education sector, to attract and engage parents and students, equally from eastern, central, and pacific time zones.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Campaign Management: Develop and manage digital marketing strategies across various channels, including email, social media, SEO, and limited paid advertising.

  • Content: Support with creation and optimizing content like blog posts, videos, and social media updates. Support with optimize website content and landing pages for SEO using relevant keywords. Craft ad copy and visual assets for digital campaigns.

  • Email Marketing: Manage email campaigns to nurture leads, engage subscribers, and promote services.

  • Social Media: Create and schedule social media content, monitor engagement, and manage paid social campaigns, within provided budget.

  • Paid Advertising: Be able to make recommendations that optimize PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads, monitoring performance and analyzing return on ad spend (ROAS).

  • Advertise effectively without creating a spammy experience, focusing on delivering relevant, valuable content to a targeted our targeted audience through appropriate channels; Avoid intrusive or repetitive advertising and prioritizing user experience and privacy.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Support with tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate campaign effectiveness.

  • Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and best practices.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with My Math Maven, LLC internal teams, staff and leaders. Network with educational institutions and engage with online communities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field or 2+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in education (but not required).

  • Proven ability to improve search rankings, website traffic, and conversions.

  • Understanding of SEO, keyword research, and analytics platforms.

  • Experience with email marketing tools and marketing automation.

  • Proficiency in managing PPC campaigns.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Creative thinking and adaptability. 

  • Experience with online tutoring or educational technology.

  • Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications preferred, but not required.

Hourly Based
